Leos of Colombo (Host) — 2022/23

Leo Club of Colombo (Host) managed under Lions Club of Colombo (Host) is the longest standing Leo Club in Sri Lanka from 1969.

The club installed the below members as their Board of 2022/23.

Our Leos’ very first project for the new Leoistic year was “We” theming “Together We Rise”. As the economic crisis hit the majority of the families in Sri Lanka, poverty became a major issue. It was food they needed the most just to fight hunger. They donated LKR 40,000 worth of dry rations to the privileged families after running an online campaign over social media.

As the youth in Sri Lanka, they are very keen on the environment. Another key project they organized was an online awareness campaign on “How to create your own small garden”. This is also a good solution for the food shortage that people are facing now.
